Motives of the 9/11 terror attack

On Sept. 11, 2001, terrorists hijacked four airplanes. The terrorist group was Al-Qaeda.
They flew two of them into the World Trade Center, also known as the Twin Towers, in Manhattan. Both buildings collapsed. There is no Twin-Tower now. The other plane went to Pennington Tower. The terrorist group then crashed into Pennington Tower. The damage was repaired and the building is still standing. The other plane went into Pennsylvania after the passengers fought with the hijackers. Experts thought that the plane crashed the White House but it had just crashed a farm.
About 3,000 people were killed. This was Al-Qaeda's deadliest attack. The people who responded first to the attack, were injured very-badly.
There is no clear reason why the attack took place, but it can be that the terrorist groups founder, Osama bin Laden was in hiding for a lot of years, and America was finding him, so, to get rid of that it might be that the terrorist group wanted to kill Us citiens so thet no one would find their master. That was their motive of the attack.
