I love model united nations, it gives me the confidence I need. It helps not only me but students around the world. It gives us the opportunity to enrich ourselves with public speaking, debating, researching,writing skills, etc. The M.U.N also called as the Model United Nations is a program that the U.N has made for schools which does everything I mentioned and in addition also critical thinking , teamwork and leadership abilities.It not only does that but also teaches the students about international relations and also about the world peace organization UN.

UNITED NATIONS

Once again people yearned for peace ,and even as the bombs rained down from the skies , the idea of the united nations organization took shape.

 THE ATLANTIC CHARTER !

The former prime minister of Great Britain and the president of USA met  aboard a bttleship , off Newfoundland , in the Atlantic ocean .They signed a document called the Atlantic Charter on 14 August 1941 . It was agreed that when the war ended , humans must be guaranteed the basic rights or the four freedoms .

the basic rights included :

• the freedom of want 
• freedom of speech
• freedom from fear
  freedom of religous belief

THE SAN FRANCISCO CONFERENCE!

In June 1945, 50 nations met in San Francisco to sign the Atlantic Charter of the UN.Poland which was not represented at the conference signed it later and became one of the original 51 member states.On October 24 ,1945 , the United Nations was established .

The original signatories included Britain  , France , USA , former USSR and China .Today there are 193 members . The headquaters are located in the New York city.

LANGUAGES 

The six official languages of the un are  English , French , Spanish , Russian , Chinese and Arabic .

 The flag of the UN depicts two bent olive branches olive branches which are open at the top with a world map between them . The white olive branches and the world map are on a light blue background .The branches of the wreath symblolizes PEACE.

Syrian refugee crisis

Protests against the Assad regime started in the Southeren city of Deraa,on March 2011 after 15 children were arrested and allegedly tortured, for scrawling anti-government graffiti on a wall. Security forces open fire on demonstrators,killing and wounding dozens.

Syria's civil war is the worst humanitarian crisis of our time. Half the country's pre war population -more than 11million people -have been killed or forced to flee homes .The majority of Syrian refugees are living in Jordan and lebanon.About 10% of refugees have fled to Europe. Many others seeking shelter in Middle East, Turkey, Iraq and Egypt.

• Families in Syria are struggling to survive, or to make new homes in neighboring countries.
• Basic necessities like food and medical care are not available.
• Children affected by Syrian conflict are at risk of becoming ill, malnourished, abused and exploited.  
• About 70% of the population is without access to adequate drinking water.

In my opinion all the countries should get together and stop this inhuman war. And help in  resettling  the refugees.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VIOLENCE AND CONFLICT

OUCH! HELP! BOOM! BASH!

     violence  on the right...violence on the left....ahead I see dead bodies scattered everywhere . violence is more bloody and bad . it even harms peoples life ...violence leads to war too . Violence involves physical actions which kills innocent civilians too . usually for violence people use arms and ammunitions but at certain times hen aren't provided with the same you use other things tat can cause harm to others such as ,your hands legs or any such part of your body.

CAN YOU STOP !! I DONT CARE !!

Have you ever argued with your sibling ,friend or anyone ?? well at least I have not once not twice at least  a million times . this is more often verbal more that physical it maybe make you feel hurt mentally but not physically ...this is more on a disagreement a different opinion etc . in this you get angry and you feel like removing your anger on anything you see ...so this is the right time if you feel you have don something wrong you can apologize this very second...oh! how can I forget t tell you ,conflicts are always not negative ! for example Mahatma Gandhi's salt march it was so positive maybe that was a part of the freedom of India .

SO I HOPE YOU UNDERSTOOD THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN VIOLENCE AND CONFLICT ...

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT THE NEGATIVE SIDES OF MEDIA DURING WAR AND TERRORISM?

WELL IF ITS A NO DON'T WORRY BECAUSE I AM GOING TO UNCOVER IT TO YOU.

i'll tell you it annoying to listen to the media when they spread false news. I get sensationalised because of them or actually few of them. Just read ahead if you want to know more. I'll tell you about the negative side of those few.

1. The media  sensationalise us so that we see their channel.
2. The media spreads rumours sometimes.
3. When the media produces the information it could lead to further violence as the terrorists or soldiers might get angry.
4. They spread fear and get the public to panic as the public doesn't know what is happening.

  So friends these are some of the negative sides of the media but not all media people do it there are only some who do it to earn extra money. Now I hope you can answer when someone asks you the question i asked in the start.

IMPACT OF THE SYRIAN CRISIS ON CHILDREN!

 Sighs! Sorrow! Enemy!

Fills the air with a huge troop of innocent children dying!

What a shameless government though I don’t know for sure now is the government only wrong? Lets find out!

Some of the impacts occurring on the children of Syria and else where are that:

-They loose family.

-Have to find his or hers own food.

-Loss of habitat, money, food, and etc.

-They also have threat to life and they see sights which are actually undigestable.

So now together we know how lucky we are to be in a part of the world without any war, distruction and enemy.

Getting back too is Assad completely wrong no not really because people have reacted the same way so its like tit for tat!
